Course Description
Classic Scottish links- style course. Designed by Harold Pasechnik, The Canal at Delacour Golf Club presently plays in excess of 7,150 yards from the tips. With 71 sand bunkers and four strategically placed waste bunkers, The Canal at Delacour Golf Course appeals to golfers of all skill levels.
The course features high mounding while natural grasses and fescues adorn the well separated fairways. The fairways themselves are undulating, as are the large challenging greens.
As the name implies, the course is separated by a 60-foot wide canal that feeds a five-acre lake and four ponds.
Our temporary Pro Shop is nearing completion. Adding to the charm of the course will be the railroad depot-style of all the buildings. The planned 17,000 sq. ft. two-storey clubhouse will include a dining room that will seat more than 240 and a lounge with a capacity for 100 plus guests. From the large deck area you will be able to enjoy the panoramic views of the entire golf course and beyond. The usual clubhouse amenities will be provided and we target construction of the permanent Clubhouse to begin in 2007.
